Many of the specialist software tools that SCC uses for technical work such as layout design, wind speed and energy yield prediction, are developed in-house and compared against operational data to validate, and constantly improve, our methodology.

SCC has gathered one of the most experienced and skilful teams of engineers in the industry. From project and wind turbine engineering to wind farm detailed design, grid connection design and turbine selection and evaluation, SCC’s engineering expertise guarantee the delivery of high-quality renewable energy projects.
SCC is independent of any turbine supplier and has strong relationships with many of the main suppliers. We monitor technology developments to ensure the latest technology can be brought to projects effectively in order to future proof our projects. Turbine production capacity has become a major constraint on project development and we track this with the major suppliers to make sure we can secure our turbine requirements in a timely way for projects and avoid delays to the construction phase.
Construction Capabilities
SCC has a team of specialists with the capability to deliver the construction of wind farms on a turnkey basis; a team of project managers, site managers and other construction professionals whose track record of delivery on programme, to budget and to client’s specification has been demonstrated through numerous projects.
Commercial capabilities
The development of a renewable energy project requiSCC many inputs, an important element of which is the commercial package required for construction of the new generating facility. SCC has the in-house skills and close links with banks, finance houses, insurers, manufacturers, consultants and legal specialists necessary to allow us to put together the best financing arrangements for a particular project.
